There are many types of blogs that can be categorized as people tend to blog for various reasons and purposes. Therefore, classification of blogs are created depending on the target audiences and interest. Blogs classification can be categorized from fashion, politic, sports, business and entertainment (wordpress.com, 2011). However, in Malaysia, the most popular types of blogs are mainly political-based blog where all the politicians such as members of parliament, political parties, government agencies, and activists use blogs to reach out to the public. On the hand, Fashion blogs are also among the most viewed blog in Malaysia as nowadays people are more likely to do online shopping where all the products are advertised in the blogs. Therefore, according to Geeta Ariani (2008) with the materialization of blogging all over the place, many people are enable to create their own blog community.

Most blogs are combinations of blog styles. These blog styles make way to identify unique types. Therefore, the audiences tend to have a look at the topic, style, and format of the blog. Besides that, the content of the blogs also may incorporated with photos, videos, audios, and links related to their issues in order to grab the readers' attention. In my opinion, these method of classification of blogs are well categorized to its respective category as it is made easier for the public to search and distinguish which blog suits their interest.
